FAQ
Questions about ozonated-water cleaning systems for home and business? Here are answers that should help.
Is ozone harmful to health?
Ozone occurs naturally in the atmosphere.
It can only become harmful to the human body if we are exposed to large amounts for a prolonged time.
Why does it not pollute?
The ozone molecule is made of 3 oxygen atoms. When we use ozonated-water devices to clean and disinfect, this molecule is released. One oxygen atom acts quickly on organic residue and destroys it. The remaining two atoms form oxygen.
The process is generated in situ and naturally, and the remaining residue is oxygen like the air we breathe.
The whole process is free of contaminants and is a sustainable, environmentally responsible mechanism.
Can ozonated water be drunk?
Ozonated water must not be drunk or ingested.
It should be used only for hygiene and disinfection.
Can I really save on chemicals?
Yes. By reducing their use by up to 90%, you can save significantly on the shopping basket.
You can forget products such as glass cleaner, bleach, ammonia and specialist stainless-steel cleaners.
What certifications do you have?
We currently hold CE, FCC, IC, CB, JAS-ANZ, RoHS, EPA and UNE certifications, and we are members of EuO3TA (European Ozone Trade Association), which unites ozone-generator manufacturers across Europe.
Do the devices work with all types of water?
The devices work with all water qualities supplied to homes and businesses.
If you use hard water, we recommend a water softener and/or a pre-filter for chlorine.
They cannot be used with salt water.
Do difficult laundry stains need pre-treatment?
We recommend treating difficult stains as you always have.
For everyday soiling, ozonated-water systems let you use less detergent or do without it.
Do the devices have to be hung on a wall?
The ideal installation is to hang the units on the wall in the machine’s natural position.
A specialist technician will place the device correctly.
What warranty do you give on your devices?
The standard warranty is one year on any of our units. Check the user manual for what it includes.
To extend it or resolve doubts, contact customer service through the form on this page or by calling 02393 430204.
Does the device warn in case of failure?
Yes. The devices have mechanisms that alert you to errors.
For alerts and faults, see the TROUBLESHOOTING section of the User Manual. If the error is not identified, contact your distributor.
